Money Saving Tip

Any one who is currently paying for a computer security system will be excited about this news, I was when I first heard of it. A few month back just as I was going to purchase the updated version I had for my computer, a kind and helpful computer Geek told me about "AVAST." You can download a free version, they also offer an upgrade, but the kind Geek told me the free version is sufficient for my needs.

By the way each day when I log on, I get a message from Avast letting me know the system has been updated.
I am hoping some of my friends will benefit from this information. Gratitude to the kind Geek.

One of my New Year's Resolution is to share more money saving tips on my blog. Recently I heard now days it is chic to be prudent, and Queen Elizabeth of England is joining in by turning off the lights in every room not in use. Actually, this is something I was thought to do as a child in Germany, my parents always told us to turn off the lights when you leave a room,of course providing no one else was left behind. This was so engraved in me, that I been doing this automatically all my life. So I guess in that respect I am way ahead of Queen Elizabeth.

In closing, I like to share some inspiring words from a dear friend: "Everything will be alright in the end, and if it is not alright now - it is not the end."

By the way I don't mind saying I am a novice in blogging, and if any one cares to make a suggestion or give some feedback it is very much appreciated. As a matter of fact right now I am trying to figure out how others can leave a message on my blog, until I figure out how, you can send me an e-mail. My e-mail address: love to hear from you.

From my heart to yours.

"Our business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance,
but to do what clearly lies at hand." ~ Carlyle

By contemplating on those words, one can find wisdom and inspiration for action. I like to thank my friend Nancy Golden Clark for inspiring me to continue to blog.

Excerpt from Ambrosia: Streams from Many Springs:

"Determine that the thing can and shall be done, and then we shall find a way."
~ Abraham Lincoln

Foot note: It is not how much we read, but how much we absorb and utilize what we read that matters.

In the dictionary DETERMINATION is also described as: fixed, deciding,
conclusive, definitive, resolution, the act of coming to a decision, unwavering.

In closing: "Don't listen to your fears, listen to your hopes."

light the flame of Inspiration

It has been said, that 'less is more.' With the busy schedule most every one has today,
I intend to be brief most of the time. In my blog I intend to occasinaly write about my favorite topics: gardening, cooking, but most time just share a few words of inspiration.

Today I like to share the following quotation from my new book Ambrosia: Streams from Many Springs

"Whatever you can do or dream you can; begin,

boldness has genius, power, and magic in it." ~ Goethe
